Installing our CRASH Card

This is something we, as bikers, don’t like to think about - crashing. Although thankfully this is a rare occurrence it is still a common enough event for us to spend hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds on protective kit. If you are riding on your own and have an accident, it is imperative for the emergency services to have as much information as possible. Hopefully you will be able to tell them, but what happens if you can’t? This is why we are using CRASH Cards.

Started in 2009 the CRASH Cards are information cards that are inserted into the cheek pad lining of your helmet. The card contains relevant information that the emergency services need: Name, Postcode, D.O.B., Medication, Medical History and Next of kin.

Installation:

  1. Fill in the card

  2. Remove cheek pad

  3. Place Card between pad and helmet

  4. Re-fit pad

  5. Place small round sticker on right hand side of your helmet. This indicates to the emergency services that your helmet contains a CRASH Card.

The thing that takes the most time with the CRASH Card is filling in your details!
